What is söm?
Söm is a co-working company created by Omgivning, a Los Angeles Architecture and Interiors firm. They work to uncover the potential in buildings, spaces, and neighborhoods. Omgivning believes in the potential of what a coworking space could be and in the potential of successful collaborations.
What does söm mean?
Söm is a Swedish word for seam [pronounced soh-um ]; a place where separate pieces are connected or joined together
What is the söm co-space mission?
The mission is to empower individuals and small independent companies by coming together to share resources and to collaborate.
This is not just a coworking space that shares a kitchen and conference room. We want to create and foster opportunities for interesting project collaborations, to pool staff or knowledge resources, to educate each other, to share a robust materials library, admin/IT services, and office systems that often weigh small companies down, and to have great social gatherings.
